UPTEK HOSTS A CONFERENCE ON INDUSTRIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND ADVANCED MANUFACTURING TO BOOST EUROPEAN COMPETITIVENESS

On 8 July 2026, UPTEK and BAT – B Accelerator Tower will host the conference "Industrial Entrepreneurship and Advanced Manufacturing as a Key Driver of European Competitiveness" at BAT's facilities in Bilbao. The event will take place within the framework of the General Assembly of MANU-KET, the Spanish Technology Platform for Advanced Manufacturing.

The conference will bring together industry professionals, companies, startups and innovation stakeholders to discuss how industrial entrepreneurship and advanced manufacturing are strengthening Europe's industrial competitiveness. Through a dynamic programme featuring keynote presentations and panel discussions, participants will gain insights into the latest trends, opportunities and initiatives shaping the future of the sector.

Particular attention will be given to two strategic industries: aerospace and automotive. The agenda will also include an overview of MANU-KET's activities, a session on the key drivers of industrial entrepreneurship, startup presentations, and a closing keynote by Dr. Norberto López de Lacalle, Director of the CFAA (Aeronautics Advanced Manufacturing Centre).
