TRAZA-NIR DRIVES INTELLIGENT TRACEABILITY AT THE PORT OF BILBAO

The TRAZA-NIR project is advancing intelligent traceability at the Port of Bilbao through the development of a platform based on NIR spectroscopy, IoT and blockchain technology. The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with Servicios Logísticos Portuarios (SLP), with the support of BilbaoPortLab and funding from the Ports 4.0 program promoted by Puertos del Estado.

The solution integrates NIR sensors that allow real-time analysis of the quality and origin of goods during port operations, as well as an IoT platform that centralizes this data. Thanks to a certification system based on blockchain, the information is securely and immutably recorded, reinforcing the reliability of the process.

With TRAZA-NIR, its promoters aim to drive a more intelligent, sustainable and connected logistics model, capable of improving operational efficiency and offering greater transparency to all stakeholders in the supply chain. The project represents a significant step towards more innovative and resilient ports.
