28 May, 2025Alias Robotics has unveiled Cybersecurity AI (CAI), an innovative open-source framework designed to create AI agents specialized in cybersecurity. Built for challenges like bug bounty, CTFs, and both offensive and defensive security testing, CAI enables the development of agents that reason, collaborate, and act on real-world systems.
Licensed under MIT, the framework is lightweight, modular, and highly extensible. It is tailored for professionals such as pentesters, researchers, and security engineers, empowering them to automate complex tasks using cutting-edge language models.
CAI has already proven its capabilities in real-world competition: it ranked 1st in Spain, was the top-performing AI worldwide, and placed in the Top 20 globally in Hack The Box’s Human vs AI CTF, earning a 0 prize.
Technical highlights include compatibility with 300+ LLMs (like GPT-4o and Claude 3), integration with real hacking tools (LinuxCmd, Code, SSHTunnel), full traceability via OpenTelemetry, and a Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) architecture to ensure human oversight.
With CAI, Alias Robotics aims to democratize the use of AI in cybersecurity, offering a powerful tool for research and development—free from restrictions and fully open for the community.
